Extra DVD Copy Free is a free program to copy DVDs.
It is able to copy DVD-5 or DVD-9 (Double Layer) discs. The program is able to compress the content of a DVD-9 disc to fit a DVD-5 disc with an unnoticeable quality loss.
The program´s interface is pretty simple and easy to use. You can choose if you will copy to a DVD-5 or DVD-9. In case you decide to compress the content of a DVD-9 disc into a DVD-5 disc, the program will offer you the choice to include/exclude subtitles, the main movie and the menus and extras.
You will be also able to choose which audio tracks you want to include in the target DVD, as well as the source drive, target drive and temporary path, if any.
Then, by clicking the "Play" button, the program will perform the DVD copy task with the parameters that you selected.
This free version will not be able to copy SONY ARccOS and CSS protected DVD movies. But you can still copy a lot of unprotected DVDs, for backup purposes. There are no other limitations in this program.
